Canada Over The Edge

This series explores the features that define Canada: the most expansive coastline in the world and the world's longest undefended border. It's a never-before-seen view of Canada, rising up and bearing witness to our nation's diversity and beauty. The meeting place of the ocean and land is birthplace of  this country's history and the frontlone of climate change. Our borders seperate from our neighbours, but also reveal how closely intertwined our histories and futures are. Shot in breathtaking HD, CanadaL Over the Edge will capture Canada's vast geographical and cultural panorama. It is a testament to our history and a time capsule for our future.

The first 13-episode cycle focuses on the rugged beauty and history of Canada's Atlantic Provinces: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland. Hidden coves in Nova Scotia once sheltered pirates, privateers and bootleggers. The tiny border towns of New Brunswick were the frontlines of an undeclared war between Canada and the USA. Cape Breton's highlands rise up calling to Celts of all nations on the Eastern shore. PEI's Confederation Bridge is a 13-kilometer marvel of engineering. The Bay of Fundy's record -high tides could hold the future of alternative energy. And the Grand Banks of Newfoundland are the richest fishing grounds in the world - but for how long? What will these landscapes look like in 20 or 50 years? How will climate change, international politics, migration and human greed affect them?

Canada has over 200,000 kilometres of shoreline - the longest of any nation on the globe. Our 9,000km border with the USA remains open and undefined - even in an age of global terrorism and increased security.

TV with TV's Jonathan Torrens, Season II

Every week through comedic commentary and satirical sketch, TV's Jonathan Torrens gives the Big Picture on the Small Screen in a show that is both a celebration and a condemnation of television's hits and misses, past and present.  Season II debuted on June 12th. It airs Saturdays at 10:30 ET on TVtropolis.

Templars Last Stand

The first-ever prime source documentary exploration of the Knights Templar. The story is built from newly released Vatican Documents on the Trials of the Templars and new research of Templar archives and properties.

Where other documentaries have been created using stock footage over old notions and myths about the Knights Templar, our story follows the trail of the Templars on location from their earliest beginnings through their reign in the Holy Land to their persecution by the church, and beyond into their true legacy in the modern day.

Along with visiting the places of the Templars greatest triumphs and tragedies, we'll explore the lives of the most amazing Knights Templar to have ever lived, recounting their personal stories of wealth, power, corruption, greed and persecution as they are changed from chivalrous knights in opulent castles, to God's Warriors to outlaws on the run and finally - Legends.

Hope for Wildlife, Season II

The mission of Hope For Wildlife is the rehabilitation and release into the wild of injured and orphaned wildlife.

In Canada's rugged east coast wilderness each year Hope Swinimer's HOPE FOR WILDLIFE organization nurses thousands of sick, injured, abandoned and lost animals back to health and returns them to their natural habitat.

Each episode follows three stories of animal rescue. In each Hope and her team has to decide on the spot how best to treat, care for and rehabilitate the animal. Often the choices are tough, but more often than not, the results are spectacular.

Season I debuts on Oasis, September 7th, 8pm ET.
