Carrie MacKenzie is a film and television editor in Nova Scotia. She has been working with Arcadia for the past year and has edited episodes from the Dreamwrecks as well as the Go Deep series. Previous to Arcadia, Carrie was an editor on the hit children’s animation series Bo on the Go as well as Animal Mechanicals. Carrie has been working as an editor for nine years and continues to add well-received clips to her reel.

She began her career as an assistant editor with Salter Street Digital (now PowerPost), after graduating with a film degree from Ryerson University. Here, she assisted with projects such as The Event, the Trudeau series, and Lexx. After acquiring many technical and organizational skills fundamental to the world of editing, she branched out on her own as a freelance editor and since then has cut many documentaries, short films, music videos, and television programs including films such as Eastern Shore, Focus Group Therapy and Boyclops, as well as television programs such as Cheap Draft and the Andy Jones Special.
