Just outside Halifax Harbour, munitions and explosives dumps lay
alongside torpedoes and mustard gas dumps. A mustard gas dump within
300 Kilometers of our city! The undersea problem is not unique to
Canada. The Netherlands, Italy, Japan, Great Britain, Ireland and
Germany have reported injuries and deaths of those who had the
misfortune of coming across these relics on the sea bottom. Buried at Sea assesses the
damage and explores what, if anything, can be done to clean-up our
global mess.
